KingKart Derby is a single-player arcade game published by BYOK Games (byok.games). This policy explains the little data the game handles.
Your settings (sound, difficulty, controls, camera), the display name you choose, a random device identifier used to keep your best score in one place, and an offline copy of your recent match results. This lives in the app's local storage and never leaves your device except as described below.
When a match ends and you have entered a display name, the game sends the match result to our leaderboard at byok.games: your display name, the random device identifier, your score and the match statistics (crowns, knock-offs, rams, hold time, difficulty, number of rivals, match length). Your IP address is seen by the server as part of the normal web request and is used only for rate limiting; it is not stored with your score or shown to anyone.
Leaderboards are public: other players can see your display name, score and match statistics. Do not use your real name if you would rather stay anonymous.
The game does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only free-text field is the display name, and we ask everyone to avoid entering personal details there.
Uninstalling the app or clearing site data removes everything stored on your device. To have a leaderboard entry removed, email us with the display name and we will delete it.
